Monday 27th April 2020

In light of the current pandemic, Festival Fresco have decided to move our 2020 festival online. It was with a heavy heart that we had to cancel our plans for June, however this way we will be able to reach even more people, and hopefully bring a bit of light and cheer to wherever you are isolating.

The online festival will take place over the weekend of the 16th – 17th May, and will consist of four short performances on the Saturday, and five on the Sunday. These will be about 20 minutes long each, and will be a mixture of livestreams and pre-recorded performances spread out through each day. They will be released on YouTube and will be available for a week after release.

We have also set up a Go Fund Me page, the proceeds from which will be shared amongst our artists to help support them during this difficult time.

So tune in on the 16th and 17th May  for Fresco Online: a whole new type of festival!

Friday 3rd April 2020

The Coronavirus pandemic has been on all of our minds lately, and we would like to clarify what this means for Festival Fresco. Currently we are planning on going ahead with the 2020 festival from 26th – 28th June, however we are aware that the situation is constantly changing, and are monitoring it closely. We value the safety of our performers and audiences above all else, and will adapt according to the latest government regulations.

In the meantime, we are looking at ways in which we can engage with our audience during these difficult times, and plan to use our website and social media platforms to drive this initiative. We are also running a composition competition (details here), and have extended its deadline to Friday 1st May.

Please subscribe to our newsletter, and follow us on social media for the latest updates.

We hope you are keeping well, staying safe, and getting creative!

All the best,
