Workshop - Carnival of the Animals

Age group: 8 and under

Date: Sunday 2nd May 2021

Time: Session 1: 2:40pm, Session 2: 3:40pm

Venue: St Ann’s Church, 44 St Ann’s Street, Manchester, M2 7LF

As part of our outreach programme this year, we will be holding two face-to-face workshops for children after one of our rehearsals on Sunday 2nd May at St. Ann’s Church in Manchester City Centre.

Each session will last 30 mins and will be a fun, interactive workshop exploring the different sounds of musical instruments and how they portray various animals in music! The workshop will be led by one of our core musicians, cellist Rachel Newbold. As well as her work as a performing musician, she is also working to promote musical engagement in Early Years settings, introducing classical music to young children.
